A beautiful lake side ceremony. Sun was shinning with a small breeze. A few clouds to help shade from the heat. Turned out to be a lovely day with a romantic outside setting. Could not be happier for Josh & Payton. The two love birds sure looked sharp!
Josh & Payton make such a breathtaking bride and groom. Girls got to hang out and catch up while the guns where having fun shooting clay birds before they had to get ready. If only it was as easy for the girls to get ready as fast as the boys. We even had a little snake encounter while taking the groom and groomsmen's photos. Good thing the best man came in to save the day (lol).
The venue is Josh's family lake located in High Hill, MO. The lake is beautiful! It was very quite, calm, and relaxing. A vibrant blue/green cast in the lake was a nice touch. The family sure worked hard in preparing for the big day and it did not go unnoticed! What better place to get married than a place that has true meaning to you! All the tiny details they did to bring the day together was well thought out. They even hand made all the fresh flowers for boutonnieres and bouquets.
As Josh's mom was pinning on his boutonniere, she gave the sweetest speech to her son. In that moment as I took the photos, goosebumps arose as her heartfelt words were so touching. As a parent to a son and know that one day I will be in her shoes as my son will be flying the nest to begin his journey on his own family it touched me dearly. What a powerful moment mother and son shared. I enjoy watching two families come together and unite as one big family.
The ceremony was very pretty. It was not too warm for early June, with a small breeze and some clouds rolling through it help provide some cover from the sun. Omg their flower ladies were just the sweetest!! They were having a blast throwing her flower petals down.
Had some fun with the wedding party out cruising the town on a picnic table! Yes you read that right. But is it not the such a neat little cart to ride around on? We made sure to make a pit stop by Payton's barbershop where she works at. Love the old time vibes.
Then the happy couple danced the night away with friends and family...
...as the new Mr. & Mrs. Hillebrand!
It was my pleasure to be a part of Mr. & Mrs. Hillebrand's love story. Their love reflects beautifully in their photos. I had fun and enjoyed the day. It started out hot but as the sun was setting it turned out to be a wonderful evening. Was a joy talking with both sides of the family. You two are blessed to have the love and support around you. Hope you enjoyed your honeymoon and well wishes for your future endeavors together.
